The history of mechanical water management
The history of mechanical water management goes back to the 1950ies and 1960ies. In these former times the first prototypes of weed harvesters were designed and manufactured particularly in USA.
In cooperation with biologists at universities in USA it became very clear right from the beginning that only cutting of the waterplants was not the ultimate solution, but that the weeds would have to be removed from the waterway simultaneously.
This development was the hour of birth for the mechanical water management.
